Established in 2014, Bluff City Taxi offers taxicab services to residents of Memphis and Shelby County, as well as visitors to Memphis and its surrounding areas.

Bluff City Taxi drivers adhere to high standards, including professional appearance, prohibition of abusive language, zero tolerance for the sale of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances, no gambling, and the requirement to wear company identification badges. Furthermore, drivers must pass a TBI background check mandated by the City of Memphis and have their fingerprints on file with the Memphis Police Department. City-issued vehicle permits are also mandatory.

All drivers undergo state and local criminal background checks for license issuance and renewal, which are conducted by the Memphis Police Department. Each driver is issued a taxi permit displaying their name and photo, with ongoing monitoring of their motor vehicle records.
