Established in 2014, Bluff City Taxi offers taxicab services to residents of Memphis and Shelby County, as well as visitors to Memphis and its surrounding areas.

Our Mission: To provide reliable and cost-efficient taxicab service.

Our Vision: To ensure a consistent taxi ride experience.

Our Goal: To become the preferred choice for taxicab service.

Bluff City Taxi drivers adhere to high standards, including professional appearance, prohibition of abusive language, zero tolerance for the sale of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances, no gambling, and the requirement to wear company identification badges. Furthermore, drivers must pass a TBI background check mandated by the City of Memphis and have their fingerprints on file with the Memphis Police Department. City-issued vehicle permits are also mandatory.

All drivers undergo state and local criminal background checks for license issuance and renewal, which are conducted by the Memphis Police Department. Each driver is issued a taxi permit displaying their name and photo, with ongoing monitoring of their motor vehicle records.

To start using the Bluff City Taxi App:

<li>Download the free app</li>
<li>Input your phone number</li>
<li>Validate your account using the received notification code</li>
<li>Login to the app (set your name and email for receipts)</li>
<li>Enter your pickup and destination addresses for fare estimation</li>
<li>Book your trip</li>
</ol>

Upon reservation confirmation, you will receive a unique number and updates when your vehicle is assigned. The app keeps a history of previous reservations for quick rebooking and expense management. You can also save favorite locations for speedy future bookings.
